Brainstorming and Designing
I started with the divider and went on the internet to look for cool ideas. While searching I thought to myself, "what if I make a custom library logo that represents the school and the library." While I had this idea in mind I quickly looked up some Waunakee Warrior logos and put it inside a book on Illustrator to create the logo.

I then began to create ideas for the actual clamp/bracket system. I started with looking up ideas on the internet. I came across a couple of ideas but nothing to me really looked strong enough. After that, I went into Inventor and created a rough sketch of a squared U. From there I thickened/extruded it so that it would be strong enough to resist the stress it will be under from curious/bored teenagers. From there I really smother out the overall design and added bolt holes.

Finishing it Up
My first print was a fail as I had incorrectly measured the height of the table edge and the clamp was not tall enough. I reprinted to make it the correct size that worked, but had to waste a lot of filament and build space in that time that someone else could have been using. From there I just had to sand the areas where the supports were and drill wider holes in the bolt holes and I was finished.

Finished Product
The finished product features a slick new logo for the library on a divider with holes that could be bolted with the clamp. This would offer the extra support and stability it needs to survive the library. It also features the clamp which has the bolt holes and a very thick design. Although this design would take a lot of print time and filament, it has a super strong build that takes a lot of force to break. Comparing my design to others, mine looks way more stable and strong. Based on this I think I have a really good chance to get chosen just from the actual strength and overall appeal of the design.
